Halloween Costumes For Couples

Introduction
October is already here. Halloween will be here before you know it. If you're going to a Halloween party with your significant other, you might like to try one of these make-your-own costume ideas designed for couples only. Most of them are fairly easy to do with very little time or money involved.

Peace and Quiet
One person dresses like a hippie (jeans, flowered shirt, peace signs, beads, headband, etc.). The other person dresses up like a mime (striped shirt, black pants, suspenders, white facemakeup, etc.).

Bush and Chain-y
One person cuts some branches off a bush and attaches them to his clothes. The other person wraps up in chains.

The Exorcist
He dresses like a priest. She messes up her hair and wears green or white face paint and really heavy dark rings round the eyes. Add scars on her face and fake rotten teeth.

Night and Day
One person dresses in all black, and wears a shirt with "NIGHT" painted in silver glitter on it. The other person wears all white, or light blue bottoms and white shirts, with "DAY" painted in gold or blue glitter.

Smart Ass and Dumb Ass
Wear regular clothing but one person attaches Dum Dum lollipops to his or her bottom, and the other person attaches Smarties candies.

Pair of Dice
Take two perfectly square boxes, turn upside down and cut neck and arm holes, and paint them black with white spots (or white with black spots).

Hurry Up and Wait
One person dresses as a jogger. The other person dresses as a waiter.

Publishers Clearing House
He wears a suit, has flowers and balloons and wears a prize patrol button. She wears a bathrobe and curlers in her hair and carries a large check for $10 million made out of poster board with the PCH symbol on it.

Girl Gone Wild and Camera Man
She wears a button-down shirt worn open over a bathing suit top. Cover the chest area with a piece of black cardboard with large white letters that say "CENSORED." He wears a black t-shirt with "Camera Crew" printed on back, and carries a video camera.

Pair of Blue Jeans
Each person wears all-blue clothing, along with "My Name Is" tags that both say "Jean."

His and Hers Hershey's Bars
Use large garbage bags and white contact paper to reproduce Hershey's bars. The woman is Hershey's Bar Plain, and the man is Hershey's Bar with nuts!

Honeymooners
"Honey" wears a "jar" made out of cardboard, painted to look like a jar of honey. "Moon" wears a moon cut out of white cardboard.

Pinky and the Brain
One dresses in all pink. The other dresses like a smart person (thick glasses, calculator, carry a thick textbook, etc.).

Nuts and Bolts
Nuts wears clothes with peanuts, walnuts, etc. attached. Bolts wears clothes with cutouts of lightning bolts attached.

Macaroni and Cheese
One person wears a cheese hat and the other person wears a sweat suit with macaroni noodles super-glued all over it.

We did the nurse / patient once. I borrowed scrubs for me and a hospital gown for him. He wore the gown with boxers and I carried a baby medicine syringe with a wooden shish ka bob skewer for the needle. We won a prize - a bottle of booze I think.
These are great ideas! I can never think of anything, and then it's too late and I dress up as something generic, like a hippie or a flapper.
