You will have my precious child in your car. Are you a good driver? Have you had tickets? DUI? (That's a deal breaker). Do you use seat belts and require your passengers to do so?

How do you treat your Mom and Grandparents? Are you a good brother to your sisters? Do you kick puppies? Will you respect my daughter and her wishes? Treat her well, not feel like you have to be a crude, party guy while you are out with her?

Do you appreciate education? You don't have to be in school at this time but you should have a plan. And be as smart as she is or you will bore her. She wants to discuss current events, life choices, religion, etc. Can you keep up? If not, she will dump you, I won't have a thing to say about it. And she is funny, if you don't get her humor, you won't have a chance.

If you have old girlfriends who are going to cause a ruckus, let her know. She hates drama. And for goodness sakes, have a life; do not call her every day. Brie is an independent person and expects the guys in her orbit to be the same.

She will spend more time with her friends then she will you. Get used to it.

She is adventurous, she spent 4 months is Europe and loved it. Plans to go back for her Masters. Have good ideas for things to do. They don't have to be expensive: the swings at the park, museums (she loves museums), art galleries, funny, old movies, football games (she loves football). Be creative; DVDs and pizza every date will not make her happy.

We have a son too. He takes being a big, 6'4", brother seriously and he loves his little sister. He will be pretty unhappy with anyone who causes her grief.
