We are paying for the damn food program. Please use it.

You know why you are there. We know why you are there. You are an intelligent young man/lady. Make this a positive experience; have some fun, but get the work done.

What is the password for your school information, please? Since we are paying the bills, we have the right. Thank you very much.

Have your melt down when you need to; afterward pull yourself together and get back to it.

We are here if you need us. Handle things as best you can without us. And crap will happen because life is not fair.

what a wonderful time of life. everything is scheduled for you, you're with hundreds of your peers, you're pretty much taken care of....until you graduate. have fun!
So, Kelly, is your comment what I should have told the kids OR are you reminiscing about your own collgiate experience?
My kids would say I said, First don't, Second don't, third don't...lotta don'ts. Probably too many. #10...Absolutely.
My older son will start college next year---guess I'll have to save this list till then!
