Well, only 12 of these people were younger than me, so that is something.
I miss Molly Ivens so much; I never met her in person, but I responded to one of her columns twenty-five years ago, and to my surprise she responded to my response, and we exchanged rants a couple of times a year until about a year before she died.

As a Texan with my own hippie tendencies, I also miss Molly. She seems like the type who would love to exchange ideas - and wasn't afraid to share her own.
Two of my other favorite writers... Kurt Vonnegut and Madeleine L'Engle will also be missed. A Wrinkle in Time changed my life as a kid... and Slaughterhouse Five did as an adult.
