Introduction

Ahh....springtime when a young man's fancy turns to....(no, not love, guess again)....baseball! My husband already has the fever. (OK, so at age forty-nine, I guess he's not really "young" anymore, but he's young at heart!) He left for work today wearing his Chief Wahoo tie. You know what that means. Today is opening day for the Cleveland Indians.

With Billy Crystal's recent stint as a New York Yankee for a day in celebration of his sixtieth birthday, I wondered what other celebrities are big baseball fans.

Jennie Finch for the Arizona Diamondbacks

For you, Pam! :-) Jennie Finch is a pitcher for USA Softball, and pitched on the team that won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She has also been a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and hosts a segment on the TV program "This Week in Baseball." She is married to Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Casey Daigle, so she pretty much has to cheer for the team I would think.

Hey Pam, you do know that Diamondbacks are snakes, don't you? ;-)
