Introduction
anyone with an older sibling can probably relate. my older brother, Warren, was pretty
cool to me growing up and always encouraged me to read and shared his books with me.
1
The Great Brain (series) by John D. Fitzgerald
This series, set in Utah during the late 1890s follows a boy and his relationship with his older brother, Tom.
Most of the stories revolve around Tom tricking people.

2
Myth Adventures Series by Robert Asprin
hilarious and witty adventures of a human and demon traveling through different worlds. often found in Science Fiction.
3
Conan the Barbarian comics created by Robert E. Howard
I am more familiar with the Marvel comics, but Dark Horse has produced some as well. My brother and I were big comic book collectors when we were young. I don't remember being shocked by the violence and sex, but then again, our parents let us watch Terminator on HBO when it came out.
4
Watership Down by Richard Adams
I ruined my brother's copy by dragging this with me everywhere I went over the course of a summer and he made me buy it from him.
5
Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury
this is one Warren went so far as to assign me to read. It remains one of my favorite books and I read it every summer. I also read Bradbury's, "The Halloween Tree" every October.
I love #4 & #6. Good list. Thanks!
