This car alone would have done it. In October of 1966, I walked in to Broadway Motors Ford, and there in all it's glory sat a 427 Cobra. The sticker price was $7,500.00. A cherry 67 sold at Barrett Jackson last spring for $4,500,000.00.

Shelby GT 500

I had one of these; the unforgettable Chumly. Acceleration was breathtaking. Sticker price new was $4,300.00. I drove Chumly from Overland Park to Emporia, KS one night; 100.5 miles - 53 minutes.

That aston martin is Sa-weet. I've got to get back to wrok if I wasnt one of those. Great list though.
My best friend in HS had the Mustang fast back; but the camero was, and still is, my dream car.
