this is the name of my god-dog. someday soon i'll be able to attach his picture to this list - et voila!

bosco
especially for a little, scrappy, loud sucker.

especially for a sweet, timid, lover puppy.

i think this one is a home run (pun intended. taken from baseball player chone figgins). bosco, talulah and figgins. has a nice ring to it.
fievel

barley
i just met the cutest otterhound puppy named barley. awwww....
For dog names I'm partial to "old man" names (hence my dog Monty).

I've alway wanted a dog named "John" or "William" or "Paul" or some other "regular" name.

Regular names are where it's at. Courvoisier, Menudo, JaMarcus, Alejandro, Frank, Pearl.

I like odd names or names after places. We've had a Bumper (the best dog EVER), Phoenix (or as my 4 year old called him PhoenixArizonaWhiteWhiskersWaggyTail), a Peekaboo (she was shy) and a Riley (now people are naming their kids Riley). I think a Westie named Winston would be good and I had a biker friend with a dog name Chopper.

I have a strong preference for "regular" or people names for dogs, like Bruce or Jerome.

One day I will have a super fat, and preferably semi-retarded dog named "Tuna".

at one time we wished for semi-retarded dogs. now we have them. i don't wish it upon anyone.

semi-retarded surely calls for a name like Fatty McButter Pants.
