Introduction

Beware the Giant Bunnies!! They're everywhere! It's Wabbit season, you know! ;-)

High-Five Bunnies from the Arctic

athropolis.com/arctic-facts/fact-hare.htm

www.worldofwallpapers.nuche.org/wallpapers-animal…

"The biggest bunny in North America is the Arctic hare. The Arctic hare can be found in Northern Canada, usually above the tree line and on some islands off Greenland."

I think these bunnies are celebrating because Spring is almost here. :-)

Robert the Giant Rabbit of Germany

www.hoax-slayer.com/giant-rabbit.shtml

"According to a February 2007 Washington Post article, the colossal bunny in these pictures is a German gray giant named 'Robert' who weighed in at a whopping 23 pounds (10.4 kilograms). The man holding Robert is Karl Szmolinsky, a long-time rabbit breeder who lives in Eberswalde, a town in eastern Germany."

You can read more about Robert's story at the link provided.

www.myspace.com/hermanbigbunny

"Herman lives in the German city of Berlin with his owner Hans Wagner....Rabbits like Robert and Herman belong to a specially developed breed and do not live in the wild."

Herman even has his own MySpace page which you can visit at the link provided.

Giant Inflatable Bunnies from Sydney, Australia and Arizona

www.inflatableevent.com/index.php?fuseaction=char

www.arizonaballoon.com/generic54.html

You can rent these for your next big event!---if you have a big event that would require a giant inflatable bunny, that is.

(I don't know, this one kind of gives me the creeps!)

In a Tuxedo?

You just can't beat a giant pink bunny in a tuxedo---this one must be for more formal events.

Orange Bunny in Tokyo

This giant orange bunny was seen roaming the streets of Tokyo (although no one seems to know why). He looks a little worried.

Bunches of Baby Bunnies from Oregon-----WHAT?!!

www.chintiminiwildlife.org/photos.htm

HEY! Now wait just a doggone minute here!! These are NOT giant bunnies. How did these little, tiny, baby bunnies get on my Giant Bunny list. Tricky internet gremlins are at work again.

These baby bunnies have just got to go! There is no room for them here on this list. Hmmm....well....they are awfully cute. And if I kick them off the page, where will they go? Will they go spinning off into cyberspace all alone? That seems rather cruel, doesn't it? Oh, all right, you baby bunnies can stay, but only until we find a good home for you.

The internet gremlins left a note to say that these baby bunnies are from the Chintimini Wildlife rehabilitation center in Corvallis, Oregon.

OK, now, everybody together, say it with me, "AWWWWWW...."

Harvey in Aloha, Oregon

www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/ORALOharvey.html

Harvey guards the entrance to Harvey Marine, outside of Portland. Ed Harvey the propietor at Harvey Marine sees nothing odd in running a marine supply business in the middle of Oregon farm country, miles from the nearest body of water deep enough for a boat. Harvey the Rabbit is an old "service station man" with a rabbit's head that stands outside his business. Here are several pictures of Harvey. You can read more about Harvey the giant rabbit at this link.

....who pulls a magician out of a hat----hmmm, well, OK.

Maybe you can hire the Fabulous Comedy Bunny to entertain at the same event you have your inflatable bunny displayed.

Giant Pink Bunny in Artesina, Italy

www.flickr.com/photos/29469470@N00/369404608/in/p…

An art group from Vienna designed this massive 200 foot tall stuffed toy which is in the Alps of Italy. The intent of the project presumably was to make mountain climbers who come across it smile and provide them somewhere to lay back and relax. Sounds good so far, I suppose, until you discover that
they designed it to look like it had fallen from the sky … complete with an open mouth and organs strewn to the side. Now we have crossed over from the whimsical to the bizarre, I think!

Giant Pink Bunny during construction

www.flickr.com/photos/29469470@N00/369404608/in/p…

You can see people lying on top of him which illustrates his size. The pink fabric is not yet on his face in this photo, but you can see his open mouth.

Aerial view of Pink Bunny

www.saynotocrack.com/index.php/category/cute/page…

This one shows the look of horror on his face, presumably from falling or being pushed from an airplane, along with his entrails hanging out of the side of him. There are people sitting on his face and chest.

Oh dear! Will someone please explain this to me? What kind of twisted mind thought this one up?! :-D

And what would a giant pink bunny wear on his feet, you ask?......

Sony Bravia Television----Giant Play-Doh Bunny commercial

Watch this fun commercial to discover another giant bunny.

Of course, I see something like this, and instead of just enjoying it and getting on with life, I want to know, "How did they do that?!!"

With that in mind, you can watch the second video.

Wow! Way Cool!

You can't say you haven't been warned. Be on the lookout for Giant Bunnies! They're EVERYWHERE!!
